Yahoo Messenger 9 RELEASED!

A Beta version of YM 9 was released.. Currently, Ive tried it out and here are few comments.

Let's start with a simple comment. First thing I noticed was when you paste an image link on a PM window, it automatically generates a thumbnail image. That was a good start, then there were admirable themes and new emoticons [smilies]. Another plus was the bar on top of your friends list. If you input a contact name or ID, it will search your list for any corresponding matches.

Then comes the bad side. I noticed it lagged like hell, it takes me a few seconds to receive messages. Then there's a buzz limitation, yes I admit that I use buzz too much and I enjoy it *The Buzz* LoL. But The new YM has a 1 minute buzz limitation. Most YM users expect a lot out of this new release, this was a great let down.


Conclusions:
The new YM sucks like hell but its still on Open Beta so there's great time for them to improve it.
